Student mail
Posted by webmaster, Mar 9 2007, 10:42 AM
There still seems to be a problem with student mail today
Apparently RM are working hard to rectify the problem but I wouldn't hold my breath for a fix today (well - I wouldn't hold my breath anyway - it's dangerous
)
The good news is that the problem arose while RM attempted to address the spped issue so at least that might be sorted out.

Hi all -
Just to confirm, the recent update involved a drastic change to the attachments system on the blogs. This may have resulted in some changes to how your attachments are displayed. In some cases, previous attachments might not display at all.
This is a temporary measure and will be rectified in the next update, In the meantime, you can remedy this yourself if needs be, by editing the blog entry and utilising the new attachments system.

Hi all,
Just finished an upgrade of the whole LIVE area
Some of you might find that your personal photo has disappeared. This could not be helped as the upgrade involved a change to that area. Apart from that - all your photos were a bit too ugly. Click on my name and you'll see exactly how good looking your photo should be.
The changes also introduce a personal profile area - please check out yours and fill in your profile. If you link to a personal homepage from your profile area - the general rule of thumb is ...
Bear in mind that this is a school site and anything you link to will be checked out for suitability - and you might well receive a tap on the shoulder from Mr Errington
